The product

What's in the pouch, and why the species matters.

One small softgel of 600 mg true Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) as a 12:1 concentrated extract — the equivalent of 7,200 mg of raw bark — suspended in MCT oil from coconut. 30 softgels per pouch, one a day with your first meal.

Roughly 9 in 10 "cinnamon" supplements in the US use cassia — the cheap, harsh cousin. It's high in coumarin (up to 5 mg per capsule), which is why those labels quietly say "not for long-term use". True Ceylon is naturally low in coumarin (ours tests under 0.1 mg) and rich in the polyphenols the research actually looked at.

Kitchen cinnamon in the US is almost always cassia, ground bark, unstandardized. You'd need several teaspoons a day to approach a meaningful dose — and you'd be eating a lot of coumarin along the way. Ours is a concentrated Ceylon extract at a consistent dose, tested every batch.

One place: the Wickramasinghe family plantation in the hills near Kandy, in central Sri Lanka, where C. verum has grown for 2,000 years. We've bought from the same 14 hectares since 2023 and pay above-market rate for Alba-grade bark.

Our story →

Yes to both. The extract is suspended in MCT oil from coconut inside a small softgel. No gluten, soy, dairy, nuts, fillers, flow agents or "proprietary blend". Finished in a cGMP facility in the USA.
